Gregory Neal

Greg Neal is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Kite Impact, LLC. He is an experienced impact and investment professional that is driven by leveraging capital markets to create positive social and environmental change. He envisioned Kite Impact to sit at the intersection of impact and finance because understanding the entanglement is essential for effective impact investing outcomes. 

As the Founder of Kite Impact, LLC, Greg's goal is to assist clients in making better impact and investment decisions. He takes pride in working closely with clients to provide impactful consulting and advisory services. He is also committed to furthering the impact investment community through bespoke impact advisory services and connecting like minded investors. 

Greg's background is in investment management, where he served as an investment director allocating capital to hedge funds and other alternative investments. He has specific expertise in conducting due diligence on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and impact investments. 

He has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Illinois Wesleyan University and an MBA from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. He also earned the Impact Measurement and Management for the SDGs Certificate from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. 

Greg was born and raised in the near southwest Chicago suburb of Bridgeview and now resides with his wife and two young children in the Chicago suburb of Hawthorn Woods. My interests include sports (Bears, Bulls, Cubs, & Blackhawks), golf, bourbon, and food (cooking & eating). When I’m not spending time with my wife and son, you’ll most likely find me with a new book in my hand.
